Virtual Racing by kayak and canoe

I've been kayak paddling, camping, fishing about 8 years and racing, mostly long distance and coastal, 4 years. I've built most of my boats, stitch and glue construction. I'm now training for the Yukon River Quest, June 28, 2006. However, I still paddle and camp the coast of Florida quite often. My favorite paddling and camping area is the southwest coast, Everglades National Park.

Everglades Challenges 270 miles, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 (class 1 record); Suwannee River Challenge, 52 miles: class wins 2003, 2004, 2005; Michigan Challenge 300 miles, 2003, class win; Cross Florida Challenge, 370 miles, 2002, class win.
