I had a couple quarts of sea water to haul around!!!!! Great fitness boat - handles chop/confused seas wonderfully. Good speed (for me) on the flats. 1

Open water crossing to Outer Green and the delightfully named Junk of Pork islands, then back, then floundering around a little until the odometer said 10. Not the best conditions - fought wind and current on the way out, with chop on top of 5 ft swells. 3

500 m sprint and return in the Banana River Canals to average for wind conditions. Clear sky, 80F, wind 18 mph perpendicular to the course. The canal was narrow enough to be calm and some olympic teams use this are for training. I had paddled 3.7 miles slowly with some friends prior to my attempt and my top speed shows some potential once I get technique and training in place. 0
